We love being playful with our headings, but we take fashion sense very seriously.
This winter season, when you go out shopping make sure you give check trousers a try. Checks and tartans have been a part of fashion for ages but they are still under-utilised and under-wore. Checks remind a lot of people of checked shirts or maybe jackets but it is indeed the time when the checked elegance should be given a chance for trousers as well.
A checked trouser or jacket is a perfect option for boys who believe in minimalistic concept. It is a great way of securing your place into fashionable group without foregoing of your minimalism approach.
And not only just checks but lovely windowpanes, tartans and exquisite plaids are perfect even for the dressier occasions. Ofcourse block colours and muted tones are not going anywhere but playing around with the prints is becoming essential for a contemporary wardrobe. Smaller checks are perfect for a quiet child but bigger checks are for the bold!
There are numerous designers selling varied forms of checks and tartans but need we remind you that a bit too far would definitely do no good. Here are our Dos and Dont’s:
1. Pick up checks!
2. Although checks are most safely paired with blacks, but a green checked shirt would look even better with a jacket that has a tinge of green or blue-ish green.
3. When wearning a check, make sure the complimentary clothes are subtle.
4. The Bigger the better!
1. Do not mix patterns- checks with more checks or other prints. One checked trouser should not be mixed with checked shirt
2. The checked and complimentary clothing should not clash – colour check is the key!
